<p>We met bonding over the idea of an office that doubles as a couple’s gaming space (a dream we’ve since made real). We also immediately discovered a shared soft spot for dogs. Elise fell for Evan right away and Luna was smitten from the start.Our first date was dinner followed by a walk with Luna; Evan came prepared with treats for her and a rose for Elise. For our second date, we attended a car show on the street where Elise lived and she found her dream car, a Nissan Pao.A year into dating, Evan adopted Rocket, our corgi, and we moved in together, which only increased the amount of gaming (and laughing) we do. The rest, as they say, is history.</p>

Jessica and Elise met on their first day of college and quickly became inseparable. Jessica introduced Elise to the world of board gaming as an adult and the two have shared countless game nights since. Jessica has been there through many highs and lows. She loves birds and one of her favorite games is Wingspan.

Allison and Elise went to college together and became close after college. They play board games together online when apart and at board game cafes when in person. Allison is one of the best people to go to for advice given with kindness and competitive fun in cheerful spirit.

Elise met Luke when he started dating and eventually married the matron of honor, Jessica. Luke has always given great advice to Elise and has opened up her eyes to other perspectives on ideas, life, and more. He’s a fierce board game competitor, often using fast and bold strategies while taking calculated risks.

Luke Bailes

Sierra and Elise met in first grade. They were in the same class from first through eighth grade and later shared many classes in high school. Sierra introduced Elise to Halo, Animal Crossing, and Uta☆Pri, not to mention countless movies, shows, anime, and games. She’s an incredible baker and media critic and an even better friend.

Kai introduced Elise to the world of TTRPGs and consequently Dungeons and Dragons (D&D). They met when Elise made a post online asking if people wanted to attend a board game night. Kai and Elise have collaborated to make their own TTRPG!

Hannah and Elise met on their first day of college and became roommates the following semester, growing into adulthood alongside one another. Hannah is exceptionally kind, caring, and fun with a sharp, logical mind. Raised on games like Stratego, Hannah’s intelligence and love of puzzles are evident in everything she does. Hannah is always willing to share with others what she knows and has a patient, encouraging way of teaching that never makes others feel diminished. Hannah’s steady presence and thoughtful guidance have been invaluable to Elise throughout their friendship.

Somali enjoys popcorn and doing outdoor activities with her mom and dad, Jessica and Luke. Somali is an avid hiker, kayaker, and food enthusiast.

Rocket is a Corgi who barrels his way through life. Rocket does not enjoy sharing but he does enjoy benebones and relaxing in his cabana on the front porch. He is Evan and Elise’s pup.

Luna is Elise and Evan’s little toy aussiedoodle. She enjoys playing ball and stealing and eating chicken (which she is VERY allergic to).

Maddie is well known for her passionate squirrel hatred. She knows who she is and what she wants. And she is freaking adorable. What better pup, daughter of Charmaine and Mike and sister to Evan, than Maddie to be honored at a wedding that she is attending. In fact, this wedding should revolve around her instead.

Boris is a spirited pup that loves his dad, Dewey, very much. Boris loves to play but he also loves to nap. His favorite hobby is sitting next to Dewey while Dewey plays the piano.

Evan values Aidan’s steady presence, good natured humor, and unwavering dedication to their friendship. Throughout adulthood Aidan has been a constant: helping with moves, driving friends to airports, offering a place to stay, and supporting Evan through major life moments. His dependable nature, generous spirit, and easygoing humor make him a trusted confidant and loyal friend.

Aidan Armstrong

The first time Evan and Giuliana met, they were completing each other's sentences to the point of instantly knowing they were on the same wavelength. Quickly becoming close friends, they shared a sense of humor and became close confidants with each other. They keep in touch regularly and are amazing friends. Without Giuliana's encouragement, Evan and Elise would not have met.

Kedryn is someone who has demonstrated incredible growth and introspection throughout his life. He's strategic and creative, making him an ideal DM or TTRPG player. Kedryn is known to many friends, including Evan, as someone who can be trusted to give advice. Kedryn is one of the first people you would call in an emergency, knowing  that he'd do everything in his power to help you. A kinder soul could not be found.

Kedryn Whittington

Ed is one of Evan's earliest friends. They first bonded over Minecraft and Halo Reach in middle school. When Evan moved to NYC, he knew he wanted to stay in touch with Ed due to how much he treasured their friendship. A family man, Ed has a wonderful life with his beautiful wife Haley and their children. Reliable and level headed, he is someone anyone can turn to for thoughtful, logical advice.

Ed Friesel

Evan and Massimo met in middle school math class. Evan admired Massimo's creativity and humor. Over time, they became considerably close and started playing games while discussing Massimo's creative endeavors. Massimo is a talented artist, writer, and creator and has made and published several TTRPGs, including the well reviewed "1000 Years of Daylight." He is currently a student of the arts at Indiana University. One of Evan's oldest and closest friends, Massimo is a delight at every gathering and a beloved friend.
